My name is Katya Roberts and I am a third year undergraduate illustration student at Edinburgh College of Art! I am a lover of literature, fantasy, pattern and appreciating the beauty in everyday things- all of which I explore in my illustrations.

My sketchbook is the place where I feel most at peace and where most of the magic happens for me but I love to get experimental and combine lots of media’s together. Traditional textures like ink, paper and pencil are a must in most of my work and I find it so interesting to interweave these techniques with digital tools through Procreate and Photoshop. I particularly love working on anything and everything to do with books, and I hope to bring joy with my pieces!
